Chicago's West Fest goes virtual

 

Get ready to dance this weekend as WestFest goes virtual both Friday and Saturday.

Get your dancing shoes on this weekend and hit the dance floor! WestFest goes virtual this weekend – July 17th and 18th.

Empty Bottle is hosting Friday’s nights party with Headliner Ric Wilson. Saturday’s fest is a Chicago House DJ Live Stream which will finish off the evening with Mark Ferina.
Both evenings will feature a Virtual Pet Fest and local artists from the area. It’s a chance to have fun and help out communities hit hard by the rapid changes we’ve seen this year.

Streaming is free – there is a $10 suggested donation. The donation is broken down into the following percentages: 80% of these funds support the West Town Chamber of Commerce. 10% will go to the Empty Bottle and the additional 10% to My Block My Hood My City.

Halloween Jean

Lombard. Mother of two young adults. Creator and Editor of Haunted Emporium Magazine. I love the horror and collective art scene here in Chicago. It’s been amazing to watch the progression – and more acceptance of the benefits that it brings to the area. I enjoy haunted houses, live music, ramblings, journalism, photography and adventures. I recycle/ redesign furniture and make Halloween props. I do a home haunt, and enjoy conventions and films. I make my own costumes, so if I get an opportunity to dress up, I’m happy. You’ll often find me biking or wondering around downtown with the look of awe that I’ve had since being a child. I believe in supporting both local and talent that travels through the area. The Emporium was designed as a contribution to the community.
