You won’t need to travel to North Carolina this season to check out the 2020 OBX Halloween Film Festival. The 5th annual will be the Festival’s first virtual edition, featuring live streams and other goodies October 1-3.
Online submissions are still being considered for the festival. Submission fees are applicable. This season the festival is offering a 20% discount and for some artists waivers.
Films may be submitted under either short film (<50 minutes) or feature film (+50 minutes) categories. Submission deadline date is July 31st.
The festival features Independent Halloween and Horror themed films from around the world. Previous films have included: The Barn, 3 Dead Trick or Treaters, 10/31, The Haunt, Haunters: The Art of the Scare and Epic Home Haunts.
The film festival is hosted by Halloween Daily News and sponsored by Fright Rags.
