Concert fans will be bummed to know that we may be waiting until 2022 to attend another large concert event.
Unfortunate news from Marc Geiger, Co-Founder of Lollapalooza, when asked about the challenges the industry faces in the time of Covid.
Interviewed on the Bob Lefsetz Podcast, Geiger was when he expected concerts to return during the time of Covid. The response was not shy in outlining obstacles that the industry will encounter during the reopening process.
Aside from virus concerns and safe distancing, insurance and liability are also major concerns.
Being here in the Chicago area, we are fortunate to have many small music venues doing their part to help fill in the gaps that grand scale concerts currently cannot. It is more important then ever to continue to support these venues by buying merch or tix to a streamer. Help these venues shine during the outbreak.
